Forest Floor Salad (Charred Radicchio, Figs, Goat Cheese)

A moody, earthy salad with bitter charred radicchio, sweet figs, creamy goat cheese, and toasted
hazelnuts. Perfectly balanced with a dark balsamic-blackberry reduction.
Ingredients:
- 1 head radicchio, quartered
- 4 fresh figs, halved
- 3 oz goat cheese
- 1/3 cup toasted hazelnuts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- For dressing: 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar, 2 tbsp blackberry preserves, 1 tbsp Dijon
Instructions:
- Char radicchio in a hot pan until edges darken.
- Arrange radicchio, figs, goat cheese, and hazelnuts on a platter.
- Whisk dressing ingredients until smooth.
- Drizzle dressing over salad. Serve slightly warm or at room temp.
